Phone fraud schemes range from complicated investment pitches to simple charity pitches or long distance scams. In order to combat phone fraud the Government of Canada has created www.phonebusters.com A website and support center dedicated to reducing telemarketing fraud. This site contains up-to-date descriptions of the latest telephone scams as well as some general support resources for dealing with scammers and fraudsters.
